Version 2.2.5 of PowerBI Portal is now online. This update is mostly focused on fixing bugs and a few issues, with the highlight being the introduction of localization for a few languages. PowerBI Portal is used by companies all over the world and we want everyone to be able to use it extensively without being hindered by any language barriers. To make that possible, for version 2.2.5, our team localized PowerBI Portal for Chinese, French, Spanish, and Portuguese-speaking users. Users are free to select the language their PowerBI Portal is displayed in, so you can have a language selected in the back office, and your users can have different ones in their front office.
Here’s the complete rundown of the changes introduced in PowerBI Portal 2.2.5:
- Added localization for Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, and French to the back office and front office.
- Added an option to select a report’s language and region.
- Added an option to send email notifications when bulk importing users.
- Fixes:
- Fixed a bug affecting the “Show in Full Screen” option.
- Fixed some grammar and item descriptions in multiple tables and field hints.
- Fixed an issue affecting reports displayed in mobile view.
- Fixed a report editing issue that prevented groups from showing up in user/group selection.
- Other minor fixes.
These changes will be effective the next time you log into PowerBI Portal. If you run into any issues while using PowerBI Portal, please contact our team at [email protected].
